Framestore is the largest visual effects and computer animation studio in Europe, with more than 20 years of experience in digital film and video technology. Employing over 700 staff, the company works out of three buildings in London’s Soho district, with another office based in New York and one in Reykjavik, Iceland.

The company has excelled in every area to which it has turned its talents, winning dozens of international accolades over the years, including two technical academy awards for our film scanning technology and an early compositing system, thirteen Primetime ‘Emmy’ awards and three BAFTA Craft awards. 2008 was a remarkable year for Framestore, with the company winning both the BAFTA and the Academy Award for Visual Effects in recognition of its creation of the polar bears and their environments in The Golden Compass. In 2009 the company was nominated for the same awards for the work completed on The Dark Knight, which included digital doubles, vehicles, crowds and the highly sensitive Harvey Two-Face CG work

Film VFX projects that we’re currently working on include Prince of Persia, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Avatar, Narnia: Voyage of the Dawntreader, Clash of the Titans, Sherlock Holmes, Nanny McPhee 2. Harry Brown and Your Highness.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Underdog, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Troy, Children of Men, The Queen, Superman Returns, X-Men: The Last Stand, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, AVP: Alien vs Predator, and of course the previous Harry Potter films.

Among Framestore's notable commercial credits are Casino Royale – Title Sequence, Smirnoff Sea, The Chemical Brothers Salmon Dance, Vauxhall C’mon campaign, Sure Go Wild, Guinness noitulovE, Dairy Crest Cityside, Johnnie Walker Fish, Levi's Odyssey and Guinness Surfer.
