Production Coordinator

Description

Double Negative is a large visual effects company based across two sites in Soho and one office in Singapore. We are currently looking for keen Production Coordinators seeking to establish a long-term career in production. Coordinators will join us initially to work on either Harry Potter or John Carter of Mars, however on an individual basis will also have access to career progression within Production as well as training and development opportunities. We are looking for someone who has some proven experience as Production Coordinator and is looking to develop a long-term career and progress towards Line Producer. Passion for the film industry is as must! Your key purpose will be to assist the production and supervision team in the smooth running of projects by ensuring an accurate and efficient flow of information.

Requirements

Ensure that artists understand their schedule of work and relay information back to production & supervision team Coordinate the flow of information and elements between artists and departments Keep databases up to date with element and shot status Co-ordinate dailies and note take Ensure the send and receipt of materials to and from the client

Desired Skills / Extras

Office, particularly Excel Experienced in database work, preferably Filemaker FTP software HTML / Wiki skills are an advantage Aptitude for new software is a must Clear communicator of succinct and accurate information Extremely focussed and organised Adaptable to changing scenarios and showing initiative Calm and personable under pressure, whilst working to tight deadlines Fast learner of new terminologies and workflows Someone who is passionate about film!
