JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

DIVE, a Philadelphia-based Visual Effects and film finishing company is seeking a Visual Effects Producer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing projects for clients ranging from studio productions to independent films. Candidate should have experience in all aspects of the Visual Effects process from bidding through wrap.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Project bidding and reconciling for feature film and television VFX projects
• Database development and management
• Manage a team of artists working on potentially multiple projects simultaneously
• Manage a production team of Coordinators, Digital Production Manager, P.A.’s, etc.
• Interface with client under supervision of Executive Producer to ensure that expectations and budgets are managed
• Interview potential hires for creative and project management teams

REQUIREMENTS:

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience within the film and television industry with combination of Visual Effects coordinating and producing experience
• Existing contacts with freelance artists within the Visual Effects industry preferred
• Familiarity with 2D and 3D VFX pipelines involving Nuke, Maya, Lightwave, Inferno, etc.
• Highly motivated and works well with a team of artists, coordinators, VFX Sup, etc.
• Excellent listening, writing and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of Digital Intermediate pipelines a plus
• Applicants should either be residing in or willing to move to the Philadelphia area
• Some travel
