- Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented 3D animator to assist our Cinematics team in creating the next generation of our award-winning in-game movies.
The Cinematic Animator will be skilled at realistically animating the movements of humanoids, beasts and machines at a level that lives up to the ever-increasing Blizzard standard of quality (see our trailers for a small sample of this legendary quality). Ideal candidates for this position will also be able to demonstrate the ability to accurately animate facial expressions as well as lip syncing. Though the Cinematic Animator's primary focus will be animating high-resolution 3D models, Blizzard highly encourages artists to apply who also have experience and talent in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting and compositing.

- Requirements:
- · Excellent 3D animation skills
· Demonstrate the ability to accurately animate facial expressions as well as lip syncing
· Experience animating using 3D software such as Maya or 3DS Max
· Passion for film, animation and video games
- Desired Skills and Pluses:
- · Fluency in Photoshop
· Familiarity with digital compositing tools (Combustion, After effects, Digital Fusion)
· Skill in modeling, texturing and/or lighting
