- Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Animation Lab is a new CGI feature animation studio located in Jerusalem, Israel. Our team is working on our first feature, “The Wild Bunch," (working title) to be released in the fall of 2009. In addition we will be producing an additional 5 features over the next eight years. Our creative team is comprised of internationally recognized creative executives who come to us with extensive experience in the field. We offer a competitive compensation package.

Job Description:
• Supervise and direct all efforts of the animation team. Will centralize the Animation Leads and make sure their efforts are coordinated properly to produce high-end CG Animation.
• Meet project deadlines / milestones, as set by project leads, and the production.
• Strategize and define the behavior and animation style of the project’s characters.
• Demonstrate a broad range of Animation abilities in a collaborative environment to conceptualize and create the overall look, attitude and style of the character animation.
• Actively promote and communicate sound solutions relating to technical and creative issues.
• Exercise strong leadership and communication skills to the team to ensure that animation assignments are understood and completed as per instructed.
• Maintain and communicate a strong knowledge of innovative animation technologies.
• Mentor and lead by example less experienced artists, providing them with support, guidance and instruction in areas that provide for their artistic and professional growth.
- Requirements:
- Mandatory previous experience working on a CGI High End feature film. Candidates must have at least 8 years of professional experience in Character Animation. Prior training should cover anatomy, perspective and composition, including solving problems in weight, balance, movement, space, construction and proportion. Animators must be able to demonstrate their understanding of animation principles such as timing, clear staging, squash and stretch, anticipation and follow-through, and secondary action. Must have proven management and leadership skills. Must be willing to relocate. Only relevant candidates need apply.
