Job Description and Responsibilities:: Game Programmer

Budcat Creations is looking for talented programmers to round out our team. You will work with other members of the technical staff to shape the architecture and direction of each title, and will be responsible for major sub-systems of our game engine and tool pipeline.

Requirements:: - Fluent in C/C++, with 4+ years programming experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge of a wide variety of algorithms, data structures, implementation methodologies, and development tools
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Intelligent, responsible, and self motivated
- A passion for games and a desire to create outstanding entertainment experiences

Desired Skills and Pluses:: Preference given to candidates with any of the following skills:

- In-depth knowledge of a specific console platform (PS2, Xbox, etc.)
- Exceptional 3D graphics and math skills
- Additional programming and/or scripting languages (Assembly, Java, Python, Perl, etc.)
