Job Title: Design Producer

General Summary: Designs games and oversees creative aspects of all handheld and console games in the following categories: casual games, learning, games for young children.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualizes and oversees the game design of multiple new products/product lines.
2. Maintains a design vision and manages all creative from greenlight to product completion.
3. Responsible for presentation and pitch of original game design ideas.
4. Collaborates with internal producers and third party developers through the entire production process, focusing on creative aspects of each title while respecting timeline and budget constraints.
5. Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
6. May also be required to identify and contract a small team of third-party art directors.

Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Console and handheld game design / production experience, specifically on the Nintendo DS and Playstation 2. Experience designing for Wii and Xbox360 Live Arcade preferred.
2. Additional skills as visual designer / art director preferred.
3. Project management skills. Ability to lead the design of multiple projects.
4. Ability to manage third parties from a creative perspective.
5. Excellent business and creative writing skills.
6. Dynamic presentation skills.
7. Creative and strategic thinker.
8. Excellent collaborator.
9. Experience designing games based on well-known brands.
10. Must have a passion for the games in these categories: casual games, learning games, and games for young children, including Disney Princesses.
11. In-depth knowledge of game design trends for young kids, learning, and casual games; demonstrated ability to create fresh, compelling, and user-friendly designs for those audiences.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years designing kids’ games preferred.
