JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Summary
The Multimedia Associate is responsible to transform medical content, advertising copy, and/or educational material into a visually stimulating, professional, and relevant deliverable to support our client needs. The materials such as CD-ROMs, DVDs, jump drives, presentations, printed advertisements, printed educational booklets, Web-based reports, and e-Cards are often produced under tight deadlines. The primary goal of this position is to achieve our client objectives by reaching their target audiences with compelling information. The information is delivered through various methods, such as: association meetings, global medical conferences, advisory boards, promotional series meetings, audioconferences, live speaker training meetings, and onDemand or live presentations via the Web.

Essential Functions
•Ensure quality by adhering to departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs)
•Provide service by meeting deadlines
•Attend project planning meetings
•Provide visual strategy and creative concepts
•Serve as a functional expert and a productive cross-functional team member
•Communicate with clients and outside service providers (OSPs)
•Participate in storyboarding sessions
•Perform testing and initial quality control checks
•Interpret client feedback and take corrective action
•Apply client branding requirements
•Adhere to all compliance requirements
•Prepare and facilitate deliverables through client regulatory, medical, and legal review
•Archive project materials upon completion of program
•Contribute to brainstorming sessions
•Provide estimates for department deliverables
•This position may require occasional weekend/overnight travel (up to 30%)
•Must be available to work occasional nonstandard work hours (up to 20%) in accordance with project needs, deadlines, deliverables, and urgent client requests
•Fulfill other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by supervisor

Additional Functions (must be an expert in at least one of these areas)
•Create presentations using PowerPoint
•Design graphics and page layouts
•Direct or assist with video production
•Create information architecture for complex deliverables
•Develop concepts and animation (2D, 3D) in multimedia formats
•Prepare audio and video elements for inclusion in digital media
•Design and develop Web-based deliverables
•Manufacture cross-platform/hybrid CDs
•Develop special effects
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience
•2- or 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
•To be promoted to this position, the individual must have been a Senior Production Associate for at least 1 year or fulfill all the requirements of that position
•Additional experience and knowledge of at least five of the following software tools is required
